RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Staff is providing information on the status of the Da Vall Drive/I-10 Interchange Project Study Report (PSR) and requesting comments and direction from the City Council.
Body
BACKGROUND:
In 2007 the Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) opened the interchange preparation fund and designated 7 valley interchanges to receive funding for the preparation of Project Study Reports. The last of the 7 PSRs to be authorized was for the Da Vall/I-10 Interchange Project (Project) in 2009.
The ultimate completed Project is proposed to include a bridge or bridges over Interstate 10, the Union Pacific Rail Road and Long Canyon Creek Channel with the Project limits along Da Vall Drive from Varner Road at the north to Ramon Road at the south.
DISCUSSION:
The PSR is still considered open by CVAG and City Staff is requesting comments and direction from the City Council.
