Staff recommends that the City Council review the list of Local Agency Assignments and ratify the appointments discussed at the January 28, 2017 Planning and Goal Setting Workshop.

BACKGROUND:
On January 28, 2017, the City Council held a Planning and Goal Setting Study Session. At the Study Session Council discussed Council appointments to various local agencies and other assignments including the Palm Springs Unified School District 2x2 sub-committee, the Tri-Cities sub-committee and the Community Assistance Program sub-committee.
DISCUSSION:
Staff has provided a list of the Local Agency Assignments that were discussed at the January 28, 2017 Planning and Goal Setting Workshop. Council will review the list and ratify the appointments. The Deputy City Clerk will notify all agencies of the respective appointments. In addition to the various local agency appointments, the Council appointed Mayor Stan Henry and Council Member Shelley Kaplan to serve on the Community Assistance Program sub-committee.
