BACKGROUND:
The Ramon Road Bridge Widening Project design is 50% complete, with the Project's NEPA and CEQA cleared and adopted, respectively. The Project construction is scheduled to solicit bids in early 2018 and construction started shortly thereafter.
The $20.71 million Project will widen Ramon Road from four to six lanes between San Luis Rey and Landau Boulevard, add dual right turn lanes from southbound Landau Blvd. to westbound Ramon Road and maintain dual left turn lanes from southbound Landau Blvd. to eastbound Ramon Road.
DISCUSSION:
Presentation will be given on the status of the Ramon Road Bridge Widening Project and discussion items will include: Project schedule, funding, sidewalks, right-of-way and a specific look at the Ramon Road/Landau Blvd. intersection geometrics.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no impact as this a presentation only.
