BACKGROUND:
Council met in a strategic planning retreat on January 27, 2018 and developed goals for the year, which were subsequently adopted through a resolution on February 28, 2018. Department heads have incorporated achievement of the goals into their work plans for the year.
DISCUSSION:
The City Manager will present an update to Council regarding achievements to date related to the adopted City Council goals.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Costs related to the goals during FY2017-18 were absorbed in departmental operating budgets or a budget adjustment was authorized. Items necessary to meet the goals in FY18-19 will need to be absorbed in departmental budgets or addressed through a budget adjustment as the situation warrants.
