Staff recommends the approval of Special Use Permit #16-025.

BACKGROUND:
The Riverside County Child Care Consortium hosts the 8th Annual "Day of the Young Child" event that connects families with Early Childhood Education professionals. The event celebrates children with family oriented activities from 9 am to noon. The event consists of social services' booths, children bounce houses, and DJ music.
DISCUSSION:
The organization would like the application fee waived as in years past. Reason being, this is a family-friendly event geared towards families-in-need and hosted by a county organization that has limited funds. Staff recommends the fee waiver. The organizers will provide insurance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is only a nominal expense to the City of setting up road closure barricades in front of City Hall.
