BACKGROUND:
The Desert Healthcare District, Loma Linda University and El Sol Neighborhood Center, with City support have initiated a Place Based Initiative within the Dream Homes Neighborhood Community. These organizations have been working with community champions (advocates) to conduct a community health needs assessment in the neighborhood to gather specific information, develop goals and initiate strategies that will build a stronger and sustainable community.
DISCUSSION:
Loma Linda University and the Desert Healthcare District will provide an update on the Dream Homes Place-Based Initiative progress and upcoming Community Engagement Health Fair.
