RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Staff recommends the City Council review the proposed Resolutions and provide input to the Voting Delegate and Alternate Voting Delegate.

BACKGROUND:
The annual conference of the League of California Cities is being held September 12 - 14, 2018 in Long Beach. Mayor Henry is the designated voting delegate for Cathedral City and MPT Pettis is the alternate.
DISCUSSION:
Two resolutions have been submitted for consideration at the Conference. The full resolution packet is attached. CM Kaplan asked for a study session item so that the Council can discuss the resolutions and provide input to Mayor Henry, who will be voting on the resolutions at the conference.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this discussion item
