Informational presentation on the progress of the City's portion of the CV Link Project, other portions of the CV Link Project and the adjacent Dream Homes Neighborhood Area.

BACKGROUND:
The CV Link Project is a large Project that will cross the length of the Coachella Valley. The portion within Cathedral City and Palm Springs, which opened in February 2018, still has some ancillary construction items that are needing to be completed. As the lead agency of this portion of the Project, City Staff have coordinated the completion of an additional access point off of Chia Place within the Dream Homes area.
In addition to the construction of CV Link in this area, the City has initiated steps to clean up the future Dream Homes Park site and a general cleanup of the surrounding neighborhood area.
DISCUSSION:
Staff and the CV Representative will make a joint presentation to the City Council covering the following items:
-- The City's portion of the CV Link Project.
---- New access points.
---- Maintenance.
---- Public Services (Public Works, Police, Fire).
-- Next portions of CV Link to be built, within the City and outside the City limits.
-- Clean up of City Lot 'A" (future site of Dream Homes Neighborhood Park.
-- Code Enforcement progress on clean up within the Dream Homes Neighborhood area.
-- Other relevant area highlights.
