Staff recommends the City Council authorize the replacement of three (3) air conditioning units located at Fire Station 413 located at 27610 Landau Blvd. for an amount not to exceed $29,821.

BACKGROUND:
Fire Station (FS413), built in 1992, located at 27610 Landau Blvd. has been experiencing air conditioning issues over the past two years that can no longer be addressed through repairs, thus it is recommended the three units be replaced.
DISCUSSION:
Due to the condition of the existing air conditioning units at FS 413, staff proceeded with pricing various units through the City's air conditioning service contractor and recommends the purchase of three Carrier units in an amount not to exceed $29,821. The three units are a Carrier 10-Ton roof mounted unit, a Carrier 2.5-ton office unit and a Carrier 3.5-ton sleeping quarters unit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding was already made available and approved through the FY 17-18 & 18-19 biennial budget process via Facilities account number 100-143-8301-8823.
