Recommendation
Provide Direction to Staff on the Goals of the City Council for 2018.

BACKGROUND:
In 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 the City Council held strategic planning workshops to prepare a list of goals for staff to accomplish each year which were approved by Resolution. Throughout the year the City Manager provides updates to the Council on the progress of the approved goals.
DISCUSSION:
At the strategic planning workshop, staff is once again looking to the Council for direction on their goals to be implemented by staff for 2018.
At a future City Council Meeting staff will bring a Resolution for approval establishing the formal list of Goals for 2018
