Chris Parman will provide an update on Special Events.

BACKGROUND:
The City Council approved the position of Communications / Events Manager in 2014 to create, implement and manage Special Events by the City of Cathedral City as well as events produced by a third party.
DISCUSSION:
Chris Parman will provide a recap of the events that the City produces or sponsors and offer an update on the remaining winter and spring 2018 events. He will also propose a budget expenditure for the 2018-19 Special Events Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The approved City Budget allocates $272,050 for City events and/or City sponsored events.
