Staff recommends that the City Council review the list of Local Agency Assignments and discuss appointments to the various agencies.

BACKGROUND:
Traditionally the City Council will discuss appointments to the various local agencies that the City Council serves on representing Cathedral City. These appointments are typically made during the Goal Setting Study Session following an Election Year and are ratified at the following City Council Meeting.
DISCUSSION:
During the Goal Setting Study Session there will be an opportunity for Council to make recommendations for appointments to the various local agencies to represent the City. Staff has provided a list of the Local Agency Assignments that are currently in place as well as a blank list to use during the process. Staff recommends that the City Council review the list of assignments, discuss, and make recommendations for appointments. Those appointments will be brought to the City Council for ratification following the Goal Setting Study Session.
