BACKGROUND:
Robert Miller along with Tamara Hedges, Palm Springs Animal Shelter and Destiny Haney, Best Friends Animal Society met with staff regarding animal services provided by the County of Riverside. They had discussion regarding service for cats, programs and available grants. Staff invited Mr. Miller to come to a future Study Session Meeting to provide the same information to the City Council.
DISCUSSION:
Robert Miller, Director of Animal Services for the County of Riverside will present information to the City Council on the Services provided by the County of Riverside through the Department of Animal Services and potential funding for programs for cats.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact with this item.
