Chris Parman will provide an update for Special Events happening in the Fall 2016.

BACKGROUND:
The City Council approved the position of Communications / Events Manager in 2014 to create, implement and manage Special Events produced by the City of Cathedral City as well as events produced by a third party.
DISCUSSION:
Chris Parman, Communications / Events Manager will provide an update on the fall 2016 Special Events including the 35th Anniversary Celebration and Hot Air Balloon Festival.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The approved City Budget allocates $118,000 for City events or City sponsored events.
