BACKGROUND:
In January, the City's webmaster and graphic designer created 13 potential logos honoring the City's 35th Birthday as an incorporated city. The City incorporated on November 17, 1981.
The City is planning a 35th Anniversary Celebration on November 11-13, 2016 as it is a 3-day weekend (Veteran's Weekend) and the weather is generally more conducive during the weekends in early November rather than late November.
In January 2016, the Council narrowed its choices down to three designs. In addition, our online survey of the public created a fourth design finalist.
DISCUSSION:
Staff is asking Council to decide the final 35th Anniversary logo from the four logo finalists. Please choose either Finalist A, B, C, or D.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No significant impact.
