BACKGROUND:
The City of Cathedral City is a member city of the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP). CVEP annually prepares a Return on Investment/Economic Report and Forecast tailored to each of its member cities.
CVEP appreciates Cathedral City's support in enabling CVEP to deliver economic development services to innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as college and career readiness programs - including scholarships - to students in Cathedral City and throughout the Coachella Valley region.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Joe Wallace, CVEP's Chief Innovation Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer, will present the 2015 annual Return on Investment/Economic Report and Forecast tailored to the City of Cathedral City.
The demographic and economic data has been prepared by Dr. Mark Schniepp, President and Director of the California Economic Forecast, and Michael McDonald of MarketWatch, LLC.
