BACKGROUND:
In February of 2015 the Coachella Valley Association of Governments Public Safety Committee discussed Anti-Human Trafficking and a presentation was given by Attorney Michael Harrington. Through further research by Attorney Harrington and the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCHAT), under the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, attention was brought to SB 1193.
