Staff recommends that Chief Wilson be introduced to Council and sworn-in.

BACKGROUND:
After a nation-wide search, Paul Wilson was selected to fill the position of Fire Chief in Cathedral City. He has relocated to Cathedral City and began work on April 20, 2015.
DISCUSSION:
Chief Wilson will be introduced to the Council and will be sworn-in the Deputy City Clerk, Tracey Martinez.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The position of Fire Chief is fully funded in the budget.
