BACKGROUND:
As a result of the Strategic Planning meeting held on January 24, 2015 the City staff was directed to conduct a Study Session related to Code Enforcement Issues / Residential Landscaping.
DISCUSSION:
Staff will present the provisions of Cathedral City Municipal Code Title 13, Chapter 13.80 ("Public Nuisances"), Section 13.80.30 Landscaping, Section13.80.35 Weeds, Section13.80.040 Trees and Shrubs as well as Chapter 8.57 Water efficient Landscape. This discussion will be followed by an update on the Water Smart Program grant and other environmental program opportunities available to the Citizens of Cathedral City.
