Staff recommends that the City Council approve second reading and adopt, reading by title only, an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map, to reflect Change of Zone No. 14-002

BACKGROUND:
On November 12, 2014, the City Council unanimously approved the first reading of an ordinance amending the General Plan and a Resolution approving the Change of Zone. A second reading of the ordinance by City Council is required by law. The effective date of the ordinance occurs 30 days after approval of the second reading
DISCUSSION:
Resolution 2014-46, adopted by the City Council on November 12, 2014, amends the General Plan from BP (Business Park) to RL (Low Density Residential) and approval of the second reading of the Ordinance for the Change of Zone (CZ 14-002) will amend the Official Zoning Map from NBP (Neighborhood Business Park) to R1 (Single Family Residential) for the subject parcels
