RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council consider an appointment to fill the unexpired term on the Planning Commission with a term expiring on June 30, 2015.
Body
BACKGROUND:
A vacancy currently exists on the Planning Commission. This unexpired term will continue until June 30, 2015. An application for the Planning Commission was received in the City Clerk's Department on November 12, 2014, from Anna Rodriguez. An interview with Ms. Rodriguez was conducted this evening during Study Session.
DISCUSSION:
If, after conducting the interview with Ms. Rodriguez, it is the desire of the City Council to appoint her to fill the unexpired term continuing to June 30, 2015, the City Council may do so at this time.
